You're welcome. I always appreciate your comments. Funny but I always look at your profile picture and wonder if that is really you. One day, I'll see the real you.
Feels good to know there are so many people who understand you!
About the drains- I have two, and they are sutured into my lower abdomen. They aren't connecting with anything in my upper abdomen, which is why I'm having such severe swelling. My doctor wil tap those with a needle, maybe next week. It will probably have to be done a couple of times. I empty my drains roughly six times a day. There is no port. The drains have a bulb at the end that I just open up, and dump (after I measure the fluid). The drains usually stay in only a week, but sometimes two, which is obviously what I'm doing. Hopefully that helps answer your question?
Woohoo! Same to you!!
